Travis and Jason Kelce have announced their New Heights podcast will be going on hiatus for a few months as the NFL star focuses on his training with the Kansas City Chiefs
Travis and Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast is taking a break.
The brothers have been sharing insights into their lives and careers, including Travis's high-profile relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift, 34. However, they will now pause for a few months as Travis concentrates on his training with the Kansas City Chiefs.
In the season two finale episode, his retired footballer brother, 36, announced: "We got a nice couple months off from podcasting because, I guess, in three weeks' time Travis will be in the middle of training camp. And let me tell you, not enough time to do a podcast, especially the best podcast in the world."
"He's gonna be busy focusing on football, getting in shape for this upcoming season. So we're gonna be off for about two months." Travis hinted at a return later in the summer, saying: "I'm down to pick it up once we're done with training camp," they continued.
Jason suggested a likely return at the end of August. In other news, Travis recently disclosed that he declined a Netflix docuseries offer. Despite previously starring in the reality TV dating show 'Catching Kelce', the tight end turned down an invitation to feature in the streaming giant's sequel to its successful series 'Quarterback'.
During an interview on 'Bussin' with the Boys', Travis, 34, revealed: "After [Patrick Mahomes] did ['Quarterback'], I did get asked about it. Travis suggested they will be back later in the summer.
He said: "I just – I don't know. I'd rather just play ball, man. I'm already doing enough with the podcast and everything. I'm way over the reality [stuff]. After Travis declined to be part of the series, it was revealed stars like Justin Jefferson from the Minnesota Vikings, Las Vegas Raiders' Davante Adams, Detroit Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown, and San Francisco 49ers duo George Kittle and Deebo Samuel will take the spotlight. Her fans. And her fans have turned into Chiefs fans, so I've had fun with every aspect of it."
