Julia Roberts receives criticism for her treatment of Taylor Swift’s boyfriend

Taylor Swift remains focused on her massive concert tour, The Eras Tour, aiming to make history. The singer, who brought Madrid’s city center to a standstill with her two shows at the Santiago Bernabéu, continues to travel across Europe and has now reached Ireland, specifically Dublin.
And, as is customary in every country she visits, several celebrities decided to attend the event hosted by the American on the past Sunday. However, all the attention has been drawn to Julia Roberts for the video that has been shared on social media in which she appears alongside the singer’s boyfriend in an attitude that has not been well-received by her fans.
In these images shared by the TikTok account @kelleyfarrelly, and which have been echoed on other platforms, the actress is seen grabbing and tickling Travis Kelce’s chest. These actions take place while both are engaged in a lighthearted conversation in the VIP area of the show.
On the other hand, the player from the Kansas City Chiefs bursts into laughter while grabbing the arm of an Oscar winner. A video that has not been received well by Taylor Swift fans, who have not hesitated to flood social media with disapproval messages.

And it’s just that, despite appearing very friendly, albeit with noticeable differences, it seems that not everyone has taken it the same way. “If it were someone other than the actual Pretty Woman, playing with Trav would really make me angry,” said a user who shared the images on X (Twitter).

It seems that, although the exact relationship between the actress and the player is not known, the fans of the singer are not willing to accept this kind of closeness. “She needs to calm down… she’s being too loud with those hand gestures,” some others have continued, increasing the criticism on social media.
While many have suggested that Taylor Swift might not entirely approve of this, there have been many others who have rushed to Julia Roberts’ defense, not seeing her actions as inappropriate, but rather as a “maternal act.” “Please. After these images, the player from the Kansas City Chiefs was seen applauding the singer at the end of one of her songs, and they gathered as soon as everything was over. And, although there has been a lot of talk on social media, none of the protagonists have wanted to comment on it, at least for the time being.
