Taylor Swift showed support for Lady Gaga on TikTok after Gaga publicly shut down speculation that she is pregnant. Rumors that Gaga is expecting her first child with partner Michael Polansky have been circulating on social media for days, but Gaga posted on TikTok that such speculation is false.
“Not pregnant, just down bad crying at the gym,” Gaga wrote in a video post to her 9.3 million TikTok followers. The singer’s response included a nod to Taylor Swift’s song “Down Bad,” the fourth track off of her blockbuster album “The Tortured Poets Department.” Gaga also included a link to HeadCount.org in her video response and encouraged her followers to register to vote.

Gaga recently released the concert movie for her “Chromatica Ball” tour exclusively on Max. The film ended with a brief snippet of a song from her upcoming seventh studio album, details for which remain under wraps. The album is expected to drop sometime this year. Gaga will also continue her acting career after “A Star is Born” and “House of Gucci” with a role as Harley Quinn in the highly-anticipated “Joker: Folie à Deux,” in theaters Oct. 4 from Warner Bros.
Swift, meanwhile, continues to tour the world with her record-breaking Eras Tour. Swift recently played in France and will next be spending a good chunk of the summer in England as the tour hits Wembley Stadium for eight sold out shows between June 21 and Aug. 20. Swift’s new setlist for the tour includes “Down Bad” and other songs off “The Tortured Poets Department,” which recently topped the Billboard Hot 100 for a sixth consecutive week. It’s the first album to spend its first six weeks at No. 1 since Morgan Wallen’s “One Thing at a Time” led for its first 12 weeks starting March 2023.
