Jason Kelce shared his favorite moments while watching Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour in London.
During the latest episode New Heights With Jason and Travis Kelce, which Jason hosts with his brother (also known as Swift’s boyfriend), the retired Philadelphia Eagles player recalled the part of the show when Swift gifts an audience member her honorary Red-era fedora at the end of “22.”
“The 22 hat? Dude, I’ve never cried at a fucking concert, and I was literally tearing up watching this little girl’s entire — I’m about to tear up right now. It was fucking so special,” said Jason.
“She got into it, man. It was awesome,” replied Travis, who has been dating Swift for nearly a year. “Every single show she does it, and she makes every show unique with the acoustic set.”
“It’s just her, a guitar, and 90,000 people,” Jason continued. “And she’s blending from one song to another … To be good in front of 90,000 people with just that, I think you have to be amazing, and you have to, one: have great songs and great lyrics, which she obviously has written and made. And then, two: be able to perform those seamlessly on the spot — nothing else to hide it. Just that was the highlight of the evening for me.” He added, “It feels like you’re in a bar just listening to somebody play on a piano.”
Travis said with a smile, “She gets it.”
Back in August 2023, in one of the most memorable parts of the entire Eras Tour, Swift gifted her coveted fedora to Kobe and Vanessa Bryant’s daughter, Bianka, during her show in Los Angeles.
Video of the sweet moment captured Swift giving Bianka a hug and placing the hat — designed by Gladys Tamez — on her head. Vanessa Bryant shared a photo of the moment on Instagram, and wrote in the caption, “We love you @taylorswift ❤️.”
