Offset is a multi-talented American artist with a net worth of $28 million. Among the members of the hip-hop trio Migos, which also included the late Takeoff and Quavo, Offset is most well-known for his participation in the group. The four studio albums that he has released with Migos are titled “Yung Rich Nation” (2015), “Culture” (2017), “Culture II” (2018), and “Culture III” (2021). At the height of their success, Migos was one of the most successful music groups in the world, with a total of $25 million in revenues for a single year, which spanned from December 2017 to December 2018. It was a tragedy when Takeoff, a member of Migos, was killed in November of 2022. While Offset is most recognized for his work with Migos, he is also well-known for his marriage to Cardi B, which lasted from 2017 to 2023.
Offset is the stage name chosen by Kiari Kendrell Cephus, who was born on December 14, 1991, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He is best known by his stage name. It was in Gwinnett County, Georgia, where he, along with his bandmates Quavo and Takeoff, had the opportunity to grow up in a middle-class environment. Quavo is Offset’s cousin, and Takeoff is Offset’s cousin once removed (Quavo is Takeoff’s uncle). In reality, they are all directly linked to each other. Several musicians, including Outkast, Gucci Mane, Hot Boys, Lil Wayne, and Master P, were among the ones that they listened to when they were growing up.
Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff formed the hip-hop trio Migos in 2008. Originally, they named themselves the Polo Club. After releasing their debut mixtape, “Juug Season,” in 2011, they initially got attention in 2013 with their track “Versace.” Migos subsequently released their first studio album “Yung Rich Nation” in 2015. It peaked at number three on the US Rap chart, fifth on the US R&B/Hip-Hop chart, and seventeenth on the Billboard 200 list. Their next huge success was “Bad and Boujee” (with Lil Uzi Vert), which went viral on the internet. Offset’s words “rain drop, drop top” inspired several memes. Migos’ second studio album, “Culture,” debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 list and was certified platinum by the RIAA. They followed up with the album “Culture II” in 2018.
In addition to his work with Migos, Offset released a collaboration album with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin called “Without Warning” in 2017. The album, which contains performances by Travis Scott and Quavo, reached number four on the US Billboard 200 list. Offset’s debut solo album, “Father of 4,” was released in February of 2019. It was published by Motown and Quality Control Music and featured performances by J. Cole, Cardi B, Big Rube, Gunna, CeeLo Green, and Gucci Mane. “Father of 4” premiered at No. 4 on the US Billboard 200 and garnered positive feedback from both reviewers and the general audience.
Offset revealed his second studio album in August 2022, along with two new songs, “54321” and “Code.” He initiated a lawsuit against his record company, Quality Control Work, over the rights to his solo work. Offset’s legal team indicated that he paid generously for his solo artist rights during a discussion the previous year, but now QC is reportedly attempting to claim his current single as their own.
Offset has been featured in commercial campaigns for fashion designers and businesses such as Gosha Rubchinskiy, Bryce Barnes, and Lavati, in addition to his work in the music industry. Additionally, in 2016, he had an appearance in an episode of the television series “Atlanta” with the other members of the artist group Migos. In the year 2020, he made his debut on a new program named “SKRRT with Offset,” which was produced by Quibi. The show follows him as he travels about with other celebrities in luxurious and costly automobiles.
It was stated in August 2019 that Offset had become a new investor in the esports group FaZe Clan; however, the type of the investment and the amount of the investment were not disclosed whatsoever. He has now made appearances in two videos uploaded to YouTube by FaZe Clan. Not only did he make his acting debut in NCIS: Los Angeles, but he also assisted artists who were having difficulty by joining Axis Replay in the year 2020. At the time of his mother’s passing in 2012 due to bladder cancer, Offset was able to raise a total of $500,000 for the American Cancer Society.
The music group Migos amassed a total of $25 million in earnings between September 2017 and September 2018. It is reasonable to assume that Offset received around $8 million as a portion of the gross revenues. A tough tour schedule that saw the group play 93 performances in one year was partly responsible for the production of that number’s production. In the same period, they have received four billion streams, making them one of the most popular streaming acts on the whole globe. They made a total of $36 million between September 2018 and September 2019 with their earnings.
Offset started dating Cardi B, a fellow American rapper, in 2017. The date of their wedding was not disclosed to the general public until June 2018, when the celebrity gossip website TMZ was able to locate their wedding certificate. They had discreetly tied the knot in Georgia in September 2017, but they did not make the announcement public.
The proposal was made public by Offset to Cardi B on October 27, 2017, at a live concert in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This was even though Offset was already married. During an appearance on the television program “Saturday Night Live” in April 2018, Cardi B announced to the whole world that she and Offset were expecting their first child together. On July 10, 2018, they welcomed a girl known as Kulture Kiari Cephus into the world. Early partnerships resulted in the birth of three further children for Offset: a boy Jordan and Kody, as well as a girl named Kalea. Rumors that Offset has been unfaithful to Cardi have been the driving force for the turbulent on-and-off relationship that Offset and Cardi have endured.
