Diehard Taylor Swift fans are convinced her latest set of surprise songs are a subtle dig at her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.
Last week, the 34-year-old singer setup shop at Anfield Stadium and brought her famed Eras Tour to Liverpool for three nights.
On Saturday (June 15), Swift performed tracks from Fearless, Red, Reputation and Speak Now before making way for the 'acoustic set'.
During this period of the marathon three-and-a-half hour show, the ‘Bad Blood’ hitmaker usually mashes up a few different songs.

For Saturday’s acoustic session, Swift picked up her guitar and said: “This one, I’m gonna call this the ‘murder mashup’.”
She then launched into a rendition of 2022’s ‘Carolina’ and 2020’s ‘No Body, No Crime’.
The latter track, featuring on her Evermore album, is a ‘murder mystery song’ according to Swift, while ‘Carolina’ was used to soundtrack Where The Crawdads Sing.
The 2022 movie follows ‘marsh girl’ Kya (portrayed by Daisy Edgar-Jones) who is accused of murder after Chase Andrew (Harris Dickinson) is found dead.

Now, fans are convinced that this ‘murder mashup’ is a dig at her ex-boyfriend Alwyn, 33, who broke his silence on their break-up in an interview published that day.
In an interview with The Sunday Times Style, the actor said: "As everyone knows, we together – both of us, mutually – decided to keep the more private details of our relationship private.
“It was never something to commodify and I see no reason to change that now.

"And, look, this is also a little over a year ago now and I feel fortunate to be in a really great place in my life, professionally and personally. I feel really good."
He added that he hopes everyone can 'empathize and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half years'.
After reading Alwyn’s interview and hearing Swift’s mash-up of ‘Carolina’ and ‘No Body, No Crime’, fans have come out in their droves to give their opinions.
One said on X: “Okay you have to give it to Taylor. A murder mashup right before she heads to London is hysterical.”

A second typed: “And suddenly the murder mashup makes sense now.”
Another wrote: “Did she just shade Joe Alwyn with ‘No Body, No Crime’ & ‘Carolina’? Swifties think it's a genius dig right after his breakup comments!”
Someone else speculated: "She sang the murder mashup for a reason last night."
The Conversations with Friends actor and Swift quietly began dating in 2016 and were notoriously known for keeping their relationship under wraps.

Their split was confirmed early last year before she began dating NFL star Travis Kelce.
The ‘Blank Space’ singer has never publicly commented on the end of her relationship with Alwyn.
However, fans have previously speculated that songs on her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, could be about him.
Following the conclusion of Swift’s three Liverpool shows, she is due to perform at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff before playing three nights at London’s Wembley Stadium.
From there, she will complete the European leg of her Eras Tour by August 20 before heading back to the US later this year.
UNILAD has contacted representatives for Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn for comment.
