Taylor Swift stayed up through the night in England during her Eras Tour to celebrate Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs receiving their Super Bowl rings
Taylor Swift stayed up through the night in England to congratulate Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs as they received their Super Bowl rings.
Kelce and his Chiefs teammates finally got their hands on their latest Super Bowl ring following last season’s enthralling 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Becoming the first team to win successive Super Bowls since the New England Patriots in 2004.
While Kelce celebrated at the ceremony, Swift fought off a six-hour time difference to stay up into the early hours in England after playing a sold-out Eras Tour concert in Liverpool. The pop star joined an Instagram livestream that Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman’s partner, Chariah Gordon, held during the event.
Swift congratulated her beau and the team as she left plenty of excited messages in the comments section of the stream. “JOINING THE PARTY FROM LIVERPOOL LETS GOOOOOOOO,” she wrote along with a Union Jack flag.

She then added a “CONGRATULATIONS” message before signing out before she headed for bed, writing: “Gotta go to sleep it’s so late here love you guys”. Swift also reacted to Hardman rejoining the Chiefs on a one-year deal writing on the stream: “AND WE GET ANOTHER YEAR OF MECOLE.”
Swift watched Kelce and the Chiefs 13 times last season as their relationship blossomed over the course of the second half of the season. She even flew back from one of her first dates on the tour in Tokyo to watch her lover claim Super Bowl glory in Las Vegas in February.
Fans will be hoping there are plenty more times ahead for the couple to celebrate Kelce’s NFL triumphs. But at 34, the tight end is approaching the twilight of his career; however, he played down any suggestion he is about to leave the game any time soon.
"I really can't put a timeframe on (retirement),” he said. “I love coming to work every single day. Hopefully, that doesn't happen anytime soon. Obviously, I know there's opportunities outside of football for me.
“You have to keep in perspective that I'm still a little kid when I come into this building, man. I know I'm 34 years old, but I have a love to do this right here, in the middle of the heat in June. I love coming to work every single day."
Kelce and the Chiefs will be going for a record third straight Super Bowl title next season. Andy Reid’s team beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in the 2023 final in Arizona.
