Taylor Swift dominates the Billboard 200 this week once again with her new album The Tortured Poets Department. The full-length is steady at No. 1 for its fifth consecutive turn, and Billboard has already announced that it’s also about to collect its sixth frame in charge of the roster. As that set continues to rule, another one of her most successful projects is still charting, and this week is special for the title.
Fearless (Taylor’s Version) hits 150 weeks on the Billboard 200 this frame. It’s the tenth album from Swift to make it to that special mark, and it certainly won’t be the last.
Last tracking frame, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) moved another 9,828 equivalent units, according to Luminate. That number is down 6.6% from the period before, but it’s still enough for the effort to remain on the Billboard 200.
This week, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) falls by more than 20 spaces on that chart. Swift’s debut re-recording dips from No. 125 to No. 146. It debuted atop the Billboard 200 with ease, adding to the singer’s always-increasing list of champions on the chart.
Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is both streaming and selling well, even after almost three years on the Billboard 200. Included in the nearly 10,000 equivalent units that the project shifted last frame were 2,602 actual sales. That’s enough for it to remain on the Top Album Sales chart, even if it falls just outside the top 40 after landing at No. 25 last time around.
1989 remains Swift’s longest-charting title on the Billboard 200, and it’s not a close race. That set is about to reach 500 weeks on the tally. In between that blockbuster and Fearless (Taylor’s Version) on Swift’s list of her titles that have spent the most time on the ranking are all of the following: Reputation (296), her self-titled debut (284), the original Fearless(261), Lover (248), Folklore (200), Speak Now (193), Red (185), and Evermore (180).
Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is the longest-charting of Swift’s re-recordings. That makes sense, since it was the first one she released, back in April 2021.
This week is also special for another one of Swift’s albums. Folklore hits 200 frames spent on the Billboard 200 this time around. It’s her sixth release to make it to that number.
