Cardi B Hops On Megan Thee Stallion and Glorilla's "Wanna Be (Remix)" – Ratings Game Music

I’ve mentioned it before, and I’ll reiterate: the feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake caused many to overlook a wealth of great music released in recent weeks. Among these releases was GloRilla’s solid album Ehhthang Ehhthang (just ignore the title; the s**t was solid).
One of the standout tracks from the project is “Wanna Be,” featuring Megan Thee Stallion. When I first heard it, I couldn’t help but think how well Cardi B could slay over its beat. Well, today, we have the chance to hear exactly that in the remix to the track that just dropped.
More Fire: Cardi B Makes A Huge Splash With “Enough (Miami)”
As expected, Cardi B talks a lot of s**t in this track. Specifically, she calls her competition “boring,” brags about the things men are buying her, and says her toes are white like Matthew McConaughey (What does this mean?). Cardi’s verse is supposed to make her opps want to punch her in the face.
There’s nothing new about the things Cardi says in this track; however, she delivers an unbelievable rap performance. I love the animation she shows, how she switches her flow two or three times, and finds clever ways to say that her competition can’t touch her. Overall, Cardi sounds totally reenergized in this track.
It’s looking more and more like a 20 v 1 for Nicki Minaj…
