You might want to buckle up before viewing Lady Gaga’s latest look.
On Thursday, the “Paparazzi” singer, 38, showed up at the Los Angeles premiere of her new concert film, “Gaga Chromatica Ball,” decked out in a dress that was partially made of car parts.
While walking the red carpet at NYA studios in Hollywood, Gaga showed off the unique, all-white Selva look, which included a matching metal structure around her shoulders.
As for what part of a vehicle Gaga was wearing, the “Star Is Born” actress admitted she was unsure.
“On the red carpet I told them it was a car part,” she later wrote on Instagram, posting a photo of her edgy ensemble. “They said what kind and I said I don’t know, I’m not a mechanic.”
Still, the star’s moto-inspired outfit wasn’t the only thing that made a statement at the event.
Along with her grommeted gown and go-to skyscraper platforms, Gaga chose to switch up her hair for the night, rocking jet-black locks and micro bangs.
She also bleached her eyebrows for the premiere.
In addition to changing into a different (yet equally dramatic) look for an onstage Q&A later in the evening, Gaga dropped a few major bombshells during the conversation.
She revealed that she’s currently working on her seventh album, and that she performed with COVID for five different shows during her “Chromatica” tour.
“I shared it with everyone on my team,” she told Evans.
“I said, ‘I don’t want anyone to feel uncomfortable at work and you don’t have to perform and you don’t have to work that day, but I’m going to do the show’ because I just didn’t want to let all the fans down. And the way that I saw it also is like the fans were all putting themselves in harm’s way every day coming to the show.”
The “Chromatica Ball” film will premiere on HBO on May 25, and will also be available to stream on Max.
