Kristin Kontrol pays tribute to George Michael with never-released cover of Wham's "Last Christmas" (listen) – Brooklyn Vegan

As a tribute to George Michael (who died over the holidays), Kristin Kontrol has shared a previously recorded but never-released cover of Wham!’s “Last Christmas.” She explains:
So sad we lost another incredible artist this year. Rest in power, George Michael. A few years ago I recorded a cover of “Last Christmas” as a b-side to an Xmas original. An innocent homage out of love. This was proto-KK as produced by Kurt Feldman (Ice Choir). Was never allowed to release it but fuck it. <3
This may have been recorded when Dum Dum Girls released a very synthy holiday song, “On Christmas” (produced by Feldman), for the 2014 Noise to the World EP. You can listen to her versin of “Last Christmas” below.
