Ravens' John Harbaugh has one 'hope' for Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift – Yardbarker

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh seemingly has one wish about the much-publicized relationship between Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce and entertainment superstar Taylor Swift.
“I hope they get married,” Harbaugh said about Kelce and Swift during a conversation with Daniel Trainor of Us Weekly. “I hope they have a bunch of kids. Heck, maybe he’ll get ready to retire here pretty soon to pursue that family aspect of his life. I would encourage that.”
Kelce and Swift started dating in the summer of 2023, and it was thought throughout this past NFL campaign that the relationship was causing distractions for the future Hall of Famer and a Chiefs team that finished the regular season at 11-6. Kansas City eliminated such chatter by completing a journey to the AFC Championship Game, where the Chiefs earned a 17-10 win over none other than the Ravens.
Kansas City then notched a 25-22 overtime victory against the San Francisco 49ers to win a second-straight Super Bowl. The Chiefs will now attempt to become the first team to ever three-peat as Super Bowl champions.
Kelce signed a new two-year contract with the Chiefs earlier this spring and later suggested he wants to earn three more championship rings before he retires. Harbaugh probably didn’t love hearing that career update but told Trainor he is “rooting for” Kelce and Swift and thinks their relationship is “the coolest thing ever.”
Harbaugh also discussed having to potentially answer questions about such off-the-field topics while serving as head coach of a franchise in 2024.
“There’s more to be aware of, for sure,” Harbaugh explained. “You’re responsible for everything. As a head coach, you’re responsible for every person’s decision in the program, which is kind of amazing to think that way. There’s so many more people involved now. The organizations, the teams, it’s all just so much bigger than it used to be.”
As of Thursday afternoon, DraftKings Sportsbook listed the Chiefs as the betting favorites at +300 odds to represent the AFC in Super Bowl LIX. The Ravens were second on the list at +475.
Harbaugh may be trying to hand Swift a football-related heartbreak this coming January.
