While some fitness fads come and go, Hollywood’s Dogpound era isn’t ending anytime soon.
Top trainer Kirk Myers‘ personal fitness journey inspired him to found the famed NYC- and LA-based gym in 2016, and in addition to Dogpound regulars like Justin Bieber, Jacob Elordi and Kaia Gerber, Myers recently revealed to Vogue that he’s worked with Taylor Swift for almost a decade — even developing a workout plan for her physically intense Eras Tour with “the mindset of a professional athlete,” as he told the publication.
But while we’re not all currently globe-trotting on tour (and trotting on the treadmill in between), many of Myers’ sweat-session staples are just a mouse click away. From a “tightening and smoothing” body butter to a high-tech weighted vest sure to elevate your workouts, shop six of his fitness favorites below.
“Mutha helps tighten my skin and gives me confidence. Losing 130 pounds like I did affected my skin, so [this is] so helpful in tightening and smoothing! The Body Butter is my favorite; it’s so lush.”
“We use these at the gym and I think it’s one of the best tools for recovery. I use it on all our clients and on myself!”
“Barcode is super refreshing, tastes good and is one of the best drinks on the market for hydration. Created by Mubarak ‘Bar’ Malik, a former New York Knicks and Lakers Director of Performance, this drink is incredible and helps with hydration amongst other health benefits. Bar is a friend at Dogpound and we love to support our own!”
“I love Omorpho’s G-Vest because it boosts the workout without getting in the way of your natural movement. It truly helps you get more from your workouts like a true athlete.”
“Kelly, the founder, aims to develop and include products to make her clients feel special and boost their confidence while using them. The personalization and care shines through in her pieces, and I know her personally! She is a hardworking mom and she designs some of the most unique and amazing pieces.”
“I am always on the go, traveling from coast to coast or abroad with clients, so I look for some more natural ways to boost my energy and I am really into these right now.”
