“Y’all wanna hear ‘Wanna Be’ with muthafuckin’ Cardi B?”
Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla have teased a new song during the New York stop of the ‘Hot Girl Summer’ tour.
During Megan’s set at the iconic Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, Cardi B and GloRilla joined her on stage.
The trio played a medley of their hits, including Megan and Cardi’s raunchy duets ‘WAP‘ and ‘Bongos‘. The Bronx native also rapped her verse on GloRilla’s ‘Tomorrow 2‘ before the Memphis star and Thee Stallion teamed up to perform their most recent joint track, ‘Wanna Be’.

Afterwards, GloRilla took the opportunity to tease the crowd, telling them, “We got a muthafuckin’ announcement. I’m a need y’all to stay tuned”. Megan then stepped in and encouraged the 24-year-old to say what the big news was, leading to her asking, “Y’all wanna hear ‘Wanna Be’ with muthafuckin’ Cardi B?”
Megan Thee Stallion then confirmed on stage: “‘Wanna Be’ the muthafuckin’ remix about to drop, y’all. Be ready.”
‘Wanna Be’ comes from GloRilla’s second mixtape she released last month, ‘Ehhthang Ehhthang’. The record served as the follow-up to her 2022 debut EP ‘Anyway, Life’s Great’.

Megan Thee Stallion has shared a string of singles since her 2022 album ‘Traumatize‘. She began the year with ‘Hiss‘. Thee Stallion also shared the Gwen Stefani-sampling ‘Boa‘ and its accompanying video games-themed music video earlier this month.
The lyrics to ‘Hiss’ (“These hoes don’t be mad at Megan / These hoes mad at Megan’s Law”) rubbed Nicki Minaj the wrong way, prompting the rapper to respond with the song ‘Big Foot’ â referring to Megan being shot in the foot by Tory Lanez in 2020.
Meganâs Law refers to the federal law in the US requiring public access to information about registered sexual offenders. Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty is a registered sex offender after he was convicted of first-degree attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl in 1995, leading fans to believe Megan was calling out the ‘Super Bass’ star.
Cardi B is hopefully releasing her second album this year, despite telling fans she was “relaxing this summer”. The record would come six years after the release of her record-breaking debut ‘Invasion Of Privacy’.
Thee Stallion kicked off the North American leg of her highly-anticipated ‘Hot Girl Summer’ tour earlier this month in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She and GloRilla will continue hitting cities such as Baltimore, New Orleans, Houston and more before ending the leg in Las Vegas on June 22.
Then, The Hot Girl Coach will venture to the UK and Europe without GloRilla, starting in Glasgow on July 4. She will then stop in Paris, Amsterdam, Birmingham and more before ending the run in London’s O2 Arena on July 17.
At the end of the tour, Thee Stallion added one extra stop in Washington, DC so she could perform at the Broccoli City Festival.
