Taylor Swift continues to use the European leg of her Eras Tour to give songs from The Tortured Poets Department their live debut, with the singer performing “Fresh Out the Slammer” for the first time Friday as the trek began its weekend run in Lisbon, Portugal.
In the outro to the piano-only version of “Fresh Out the Slammer,” Swift also tacked on a surprise rendition of “High Infidelity,” a Midnights track that has only been performed once before, over a year ago at an April 2023 Eras Tour gig in Atlanta.
The Surprise Songs portion of Friday’s Lisbon show also featured an acoustic medley of seldom-played tracks from Swift’s early catalog with the trio of Red’s “Come Back… Be Here” with Fearless’ “The Way I Loved You” and “The Other Side of the Door.”
At Swift’s Stockholm gigs last week, the singer delivered the debuts of “How Did It End?” and “Guilty as Sin?,” plus a medley dedicated to Sweden’s own super-producer Max Martin and a 1989 mashup in honor of it being the 89th Eras Tour show.
Swift will return to Lisbon’s Estádio da Luz Saturday before beginning her two-night stand in Madrid on Wednesday.
