As Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's high profile relationship continues, fans eager for an engagement announcement may have to remain patient.
The Kansas City Chiefs player and his superstar sweetheart have been public with their relationship since September, garnering attention worldwide. Their whirlwind romance has been the subject of major scrutiny – but it seems they are content on enjoying their time together without rushing into marriage just yet.
The dynamic duo have recently returned from a romantic getaway to Lake Como in Italy, where they managed to steal some downtime during a break in their busy schedules. Despite this, according to Us Weekly there are currently no plans for a proposal from Kelce to Swift just yet.

An inside source shared the current state of affairs concerning Kelce's stance on wedding bells ringing for him and Swift: "Travis has no plans on proposing to Taylor,' It's not even on his radar. Marriage is something he takes very seriously and not something he would ever just jump into without giving it some careful consideration."
The couple appear keen enough to see their romance bloom as they relish their global get-togethers, hopping between Australia and Singapore. The insider shared: "Things between them are going amazing, but they haven't even been together for a year yet and still have so much to learn about each other.", reports the Mirror US.
This statement follows a nugget of information given to Life & Style by a source who says that Kelce is thoughtful about timing his potential proposal just right. Their confidant argued: "They've been together almost a year now and they're madly in love, so it makes sense that they'd be discussing marriage. The big moment and the ring need to be super special … no matter what or when he finally asks her, it will be an experience that they'll remember forever."
On another front, fellow Kansas City star James Winchester seems to wholeheartedly support Kelce's relationship with Swift. He sees a future where the two tie the knot, echoing on the Like a Farmer podcast: "Yeah, I can definitely see it."
"I think they're very similar in a lot of ways. Being around Trav for the last nine years, I mean, I think they're more similar than you would think. So I wish the best for them. 'I'm gonna go with what our kicker Harrison Butker said, 'I hope you guys get married and have a lot of kids'. So you know, I'm like hey go for it, have a family. I'm happy for them."
David Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, also made predictions about Kelce's future proposal to his girlfriend when he appeared on Alex Cooper's 'Call Her Daddy' podcast. He anticipated this will happen "within a year", and even suggested a potential baby name, adding: "They'll probably name [a son] after Mahomes. That wouldn't shock me.' Everything she's doing she hasn't done before."
