Mathew Clayton, senior editor at Unbound has acquired world language rights to The Eras Tour – in pictures and words, a 352-page unofficial account of singer-songwriter Taylor Swift’s ground-breaking tour.
Written by New York Times bestselling Swift biographer, Chas Newkey-Burden, there will be over 250 colour photos and 30,000 words from the author, telling the full story of the 153-show tour from its announcement in late 2022 to the final date in Canada this December.
The book will also contain features on the people that made the tour possible: the backing band, the dancers, the choreographers and the set designers to all the backstage staff. It will also contain facts such as set lists, surprise songs, special guests, Easter eggs, merchandise, the financial impact and attendances.
The book will offer fans of Swift, known as “Swifties”, the chance to be immortalised in a section listing the names of everyone that supports the project on Kickstarter.
The book will launch on Kickstarter on 28th May at 8am.
