Lady Gaga might have just decided to subtly side with the employees who suffered inappropriate exploitation.
Page Six reported that the Bad Romance crooner was advised by many Lower East Side artists to cancel her sister’s bachelorette party to be held at the club, The Box, amid its ongoing lawsuit for harassment.
For the unversed, the nightclub in question, The Box, which is just as well-known for its explicit shows and starry clientele has been sued by a former staffer.
The ex-employee claimed in the documents filed in 2022, that their managers, “ordered and coerced female waitresses, performers, and employees to dress provocatively and travel throughout New York City in order to lure male customers to [The] Box, where they would be serviced with sexual acts, sexual intercourse, drugs, and excessive alcohol by other female employees who had been forced to perform these acts.”
Sources working for the outlet revealed that Lady Gaga’s team had suggested to cancel her sister, Natali Germanotta’s party, instead of supporting the club, to which the artist has complied.
Lady Gaga and The Box representatives have not responded to Page Six’s request for comment as of yet.
