Taylor Swift may sing about tortured poets but doesn’t seem to be living like one.
In the wake of the record-breaking release of her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” America’s most famous woman visited the quaint Central Coast town of Carmel-by-the-Sea, which has a population of just over 3,000. According to People, she took a beachy couple’s vacation with her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and celebrity couple Bradley Cooper (recently of “Maestro” renown) and model Gigi Hadid.
The movements of the singer (and newly minted billionaire) failed to fly under the radar. Her fans got to work scrutinizing the visit and speculating where the foursome ate, as Eater reported. Onlookers identified Michelin Guide restaurant La Bicyclette as a likely candidate. The European-style bistro serves up French and Italian dishes with California flair. An employee of the restaurant confirmed over the phone that the group ate there.

Swift and company also enjoyed spending time at the beach, according to People.
Carmel-by-the-Sea is a relatively short drive (and even shorter private jet ride) from the Bay Area city of Santa Clara, which has been crowned the nation’s “Swiftie Capital.” Swift performed two nights at the city's Levi’s Stadium for her Eras Tour, injecting tens of millions of dollars into the county’s economy.
