Cardi B

Female American rappers have entered the ongoing beef within the hip-hop industry, adding another move to the tension between their male counterparts.
Bia, a protege of Nicki Minaj, seemingly took a swipe at her mentor’s rival, Cardi B, on Dreezy’s ‘B*tch Duh’ remix.
In her verse, Bia mocked an unnamed female artiste who can’t follow the beat and went on to say she could never turn her phone on to cry on livestream.
Many interpreted this as a reference to Cardi B, who famously broke down during an Instagram live session in December 2023, addressing her ex-husband Offset’s alleged deceit.
“How you say you running down and can’t walk on the beat? I ain’t know I had an opp ’cause she don’t say sh*t to me. I could never turn my phone on just to cry, on the live,” Bia raps.
