One of my favorite things about Taylor Swift is the fact that she will capture your heart and soul, no matter who you are. In the past, we’ve seen ex Joe Jonas’ ex wife Sophie Turner proclaim her love and respect for Taylor (and be besties at dinner with her,) we see Taylor Lautner’s wife fawn over her like the biggest Swiftie in the world, and now we have Vick Hope, wife of Calvin Harris admitting that she makes sure to catch up on her Taylor fix when he isn’t around.
For those who don’t realize, Calvin Harris is one of Taylor’s exes, and she even helped him write one of his TOP hits, “This Is What You Came For” featuring Rihanna. Taylor originally assisted him and used the pseudonym Nils Sjöberg, but after some time had passed, we all found out what the secret sauce really was. As usual, it’s Taylor.
This news of Vick loving Taylor in secret is laugh out loud funny to me. It has to suck being Taylor’s ex, considering she’s so talented and cool that its nearly impossible to “hate” her especially over something that happened nearly 10 years ago. The WAGS of her exes can’t resist her. So she dated your husband, so what? Does Vick Hope have to suffer in silence when she just wants to rock out to some of the new 1989 vault tracks? Absolutely not. We’re all adults here. Sure, she gives her husband the courtesy of waiting until he’s out of the house to blast his ex through the loudspeakers, but she’s still listening. She’s still a Swiftie. She was a Swiftie before she knew him, and she’s going to be a Swiftie for life. Let’s just hope she doesn’t listen to, “I Forgot That You Existed” too many times, and accidentally gives herself the ick on her own man.
