Taylor Swift headed to Barney’s Beanery to celebrate a pal’s birthday, but a body language expert said her appearance was ‘subdued’ without Travis Kelce
Taylor Swift was spotted partying without her boyfriend Travis Kelce, but she appeared to be staying on her "best behaviour," according to a body language expert.
The Shake It Off singer stunned revellers as she made a low-key appearance to celebrate a pal's birthday at a dive bar on Thursday. But while her NFL star partner was nowhere to be seen, the songstress was said to be showing of some very "Kelce-friendly" body language.
Body language expert Judi James analysed the images and footage the Mirror obtained and said Taylor was clearly spending her night out with friends looking "loyally low-key and subdued rather than in party mode".

Judi continued her analysis: "Sitting at the table, swamped by what seems to be an un-sexy baggy sweatshirt, Taylor shows no signs of showing off her star status. She sits low in her seat with her arms under the table, looking as though she’s on her best behaviour.
"She even seems to be studying something that could be her phone screen, hinting that perhaps she is in contact with Travis while she’s out with the girls."
Reports claim that Taylor wasn't interrupted by fans during her stay with friends at Barney's Beanery in Los Angeles. Taylor's bodyguards were said to be waiting outside the restaurant instead of at the table, presumably in another part of her efforts to keep a low profile. She is said to have spent approximately two hours at the establishment before she got up and left. At that point, it's thought one of her bodyguards came in and paid the tab on her behalf.
Fans were quick to comment on Taylor's surprise appearance online. One user took to X/ Twitter to share a snap from inside the restaurant. They wrote on the upload: "The chances of Taylor Swift being at Barney’s Beanery are slim, but never zero."
Another user gushed: "taylor swift being at barney’s beanery last night is actually a historical event to me," before continued: "no bc i literally was in weho half a mile away from her yday and barneys is like MY SPOT (the westwood location tbf but still)."
A third seemed similarly shocked and said: "what the HELL do you mean taylor SWIFT was at barney’s BEANERY? LA is so crazy."
Despite Travis not being present at the celebration, it's thought he and Taylor are still extremely happy in their relationship. The pair were spotted packing on the affection on a recent beach holiday and with the latest football season over and Taylor on break from her tour, the two are said to have been spending a lot of time in each other's company.
