Actor Joaquin Phoenix returns to portray the iconic DC Comics character, the Joker, while superstar Lady Gaga takes on the role of Harley Quinn. Today, the release of the first Joker: Folie à Deux poster provides an official glimpse into Joaquin Phoenix’s portrayal of the DC villain and Lady Gaga’s rendition of Harley. The official poster for the upcoming film, captioned ‘The world is a stage,’ showcases a tender moment between Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker and Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn. They are depicted dancing intimately, lost in each other’s embrace. Phoenix’s Joker holds a cigarette, while Harley Quinn’s smudged makeup suggests the intensity of their connection. Notably, the caption also announces the trailer’s premiere date as April 9.

When will Joker 2 be released?
The movie Joker: Folie à Deux will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and is set to hit theaters in the United States on October 4, 2024.
If you are a fan of the franchise, you might know that actress Margot Robbie’s memorable performance as Harley Quinn. The reins are now taken over by Lady Gaga, who is set to play the iconic character in the upcoming film Joker: Folie á Deux. Margot Robbie recently in January 2024 expressed her thoughts on Lady Gaga’s portrayal of her former role during the Golden Globes Award pre-show.

At the Golden Globes pre-show, Margot Robbie shared her excitement about Lady Gaga taking over the role of Harley Quinn. Robbie expressed her eagerness to see Gaga’s interpretation and believes she’ll excel in the part. She added that she has yet to have any conversations with Gaga about the role, preferring to experience her performance firsthand on screen.
Robbie, for the unfamiliar, was the lead in the 2023 Hollywood film, Barbie.
