Taylor Swift never has a tough time selling her music. Whether it be albums on CD or vinyl, or even her individual tunes, the singer’s fan base is seemingly always eager to purchase anything she’s written and performed. That’s evident this week, as two of her songs experience sales boosts of more than 100%.
“Long Live (Taylor’s Version)” gains the most among the tracks from Swift’s catalog that are on the rise. In the past tracking period, that tune sold 1,281 copies across the U.S. According to Luminate, that sum is up 184% from the week before.
All those purchases helped “Long Live (Taylor’s Version)” reach a Billboard chart it’s never appeared on before. The tune opens at No. 14 on the Country Digital Song Sales ranking this frame, bringing Swift back to the tally.
At the same time, a very different tune from Swift’s back catalog is also surging when it comes to pure purchases. “…Ready For It?” sold 1,488 copies in the past tracking period. That’s up more than 106% from the same time period, only a week before.
Both “Long Live (Taylor’s Version)” and “…Ready For It?” surged more than 100% in sales, but they aren’t the only tracks from Swift to improve. Fans of the superstar showed their love to several other older cuts as well, with several of them climbing 50% or more when it came to purchases.
Sales of “Lover” grew by 70% in the same timeframe. That cut–the version that features Shawn Mendes, that is–sold another 1,277 copies, according to Luminate.
“Cruel Summer” sold so well that it reappears on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart this week. After falling off the list recently, the tune is back at No. 21 on the 25-spot ranking. Luminate reports that the tune sold 2,055 copies last week. That’s up 50% from the week before.
