Why does Taylor Swift prefer Travis Kelce’s dad bod?
Although a fitness model will pick another fitness model as their partner, the real world is much more different if we look at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. The Kansas City Chiefs‘ tight end is nowhere near the athletic body that people expect from a three-time SUper Bowl winner. The most recent pictures of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift spending time on holiday at the beach are the proof that even the most stunning women in the world prefer a dad bod. What is a dad bod? It’s the body of a man who even shows the famous love handles and is nowhere the schizzled body that NFL professionals tend to have. Travis Kelce is just one more of the dudes. And yet the biggest popstar in the world is madly in love with him.
Although having a muscled body is definitely attractive to women, there are plenty of gorgeous and athletic women who don’t like a man with too many muscles or 7% body fat. It’s the dudes with a little ‘dad bod’ bulk the ones that tend to get most of the women, according to science and not speculation. According to a study conducted by Dating.com, 75% of singles love the so-called ‘dad-bod’. Meaning, they prefer a body figure that is not that defined or filled with muscles. A total of 78% of women believe a man with a dad bod is more confident in their own skin and they find that incredibly attractive.
Plus, an impressive 83% of married women conirmed they are proud to have a husband with a little bit of fat around the edges. Another interesting aspect of this study is that men with a ripped physique have high testosterone levels and women don’t like these men for their aggressive tendencies. As life partners, men with not-so-high testosterone levels are ideal t be both better husbands and better fathers. Kelce is extremely athletic but he is the perfect definition of a dad bod. It appears Taylor Swift may have found the one.
