The Chiefs star recorded the last episode of his podcast “New Heights” before jetting off with the pop star
Amid the NFL football offseason, Kansas City Chiefs’ star tight end, Travis Kelce, is not just enjoying football downtime but he is also enjoying some well-deserved relaxation with his girlfriend, pop sensation Taylor Swift.
Kelce, known for his candid humor, joked about his wanderlust tendencies on the recent episode of his podcast “New Heights” with brother Jason Kelce.
“‘Traveling Trav,’ that’s my f-king nickname – not because I move around a lot, but because I can’t f-king dribble a basketball,” Kelce humorously remarked, setting the tone for his then upcoming vacation escapade with Swift.
Despite his packed schedule, Kelce made time for podcast recordings, waking up at the crack of dawn before embarking on his romantic getaway with Swift.
The couple, who have been in the limelight since Swift’sEras Tour concluded in Singapore, seem to have chosen Eleuthera in the Bahamas as their destination for some quality time together.
Kelce and Swift’s vacation plans required some rearrangements, evident in the scheduling adjustments made for the podcast recording.
Jason Kelce explained the timing intricacies, highlighting the commitment both brothers have to their podcast despite the allure of a sunny Bahamian retreat.
While the couple tried to keep a low profile during their island getaway, keen-eyed fans caught glimpses of them disembarking a boat and strolling across a dock.
Despite their efforts to maintain anonymity with baseball caps, their celebrity status couldn’t evade the curiosity of the locals.
This isn’t the first time Swift has visited Eleuthera, having previously explored the island with her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.
However, her relationship with Kelce seems to have taken precedence, with the couple nurturing their bond away from the public eye during this hiatus from their bustling careers.
Kelce has also been seen enjoying his time off away from Swift. He recently attended a Justin Timberlake concert in Los Angeles without is girlfriend.
Reflecting on the experience on the podcast, Kelce expressed his admiration for Timberlake’s performance and the nostalgia-inducing renditions of his old hits.
“It was so cool to see him play some of my favorites and then on top of that a handful of his new stuff, as well as his new hit single with *NSYNC.”
Travis went on saying, “It was a fun evening. I mean I can’t complain. Anytime you can see Justin Timberlake perform, I suggest you buy the ticket man. He’s the best.”
