It’s getting more and more likely that Cardi B will be dropping her sophomore album in 2024, a project being referred to by fans as CB2. Earlier this month, she dropped a freestyle called “Like What,” which sampled Missy Elliott‘s 1999 classic “She’s a B**ch” and arrived with a music video directed by Offset.
Cardi has now returned with another single, the punchy “Enough (Miami).” On the song, she delivers blows to her opps and muses about not being able to trust anyone in the industry.
“I see my opps linkin’ up, I’m like, “What in the f***?” / If you scared, then just say that, ho, enough is enough / They was just in my DMs, ain’t no trustin’ these sl**s,” she raps.
A Patience Harding-directed visual accompanied the release, seeing Cardi in the studio, changing up her outfit every few seconds. One look is entirely made out of shiny red tape, while another outfit channels “mob wife” with an oversized furry coat. The rapper also embraces her goth side with a mesh black bodysuit and faux face piercings.
