Cardi B revealed that she lost one of her veneers, but she’s making the best of it.
On Tuesday, March 11, the Bronx rapper posted a video to TikTok in an effort to promote her upcoming single "Enough (Miami)." In the video, she struts around a pool while serving some looks with the caption "Wait till the end for a surprise…." Midway through the video, Cardi flashes off her pearly whites and unveils a missing tooth while she cackled into the camera. She even shouted "Meh-Ha" like Amanda Bynes’ "Courtney" character from "The Amanda Show."
The "Like What" rapper didn’t offer an explanation in the video. Instead, she took to her Instagram Broadcast Channel "BG Secret Society" and told her fans what really happened.
"Why one of my veneers came out chewing on a hard a*s bagel?" she wrote.
The hilarious video comes just days before her next single arrives. Earlier this week, Cardi B posted the spicy cover art for her upcoming track "Enough (Miami)." After some confusion surrounding the title of her new song, Cardi recently took to social media to provide an explanation.
"The song had an original name, which is the simplest name, and we all call it that name," she explained. "But you guys been calling it ‘Miami’ so I decided to go with ‘Miami.’ As I’m going around showing my team the artwork, Ev, my engineer said, ‘I don’t think you should call the song ‘Miami’ and out of nowhere Colin hit me up in a group text like ‘I don’t think you should name the song ‘Miami.’ You only say Miami one time and the song just don’t have a… It just doesn’t make sense to call it ‘Miami.’ So now I’m going to change the name of the song again but it’s not even going to be the original name of the song. It’s going to be something different but I’m going to have ‘Miami’ in parenthesis."
The song is expected to appear on Bardi’s long-overdue sophomore album. Although she’s dropped two prominent tracks that may appear on the project, she has yet to confirm the release date or title. Look out for Cardi B’s new song dropping this Friday.
