Helmed by Sam Wrench (who previously directed Billie Eilish: Live at the O2 (2023) and Lizzo: Live in Concert (2022)), the film is produced by the singer-songwriter herself. Filming of the movie took place in August 2023 at three shows at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Taylor Swift – The Eras Tour became the highest-grossing concert film of all time. It raked in USD 261.6 million at the box office during its limited theatrical run worldwide. Here is how you can watch the movie online:
A longer edit of the film, subtitled (Taylor’s Version), will be available for fans on OTT. Th extended version will include her performances on songs like Cardigan, Maroon, I Can See You, You Are In Love and Death By A Thousand Cuts. The film is set to release on 14 March 2024.
The film will release on Disney+. The streaming platform purchased the exclusive streaming rights of The Eras Tour movie for a reported sum of USD 75 million in a bidding war with Netflix and Universal after negotiations with Swift’s brother Austin.
