Taylor Swift has unexpectedly moved the on-demand release date for “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” concert film.
Those who want to watch the concert movie will be able to stream it on-demand with Disney+ on Thursday, March 14 as compared to the previous release date, which was Friday, March 15.
According to Disney+, Thursday’s release of the film will include the concert in it’s entirety for the first time which will feature the song “cardigan” and four additional acoustic songs.
This is most likely the last “release” for Swift’s record-breaking concert film. The first was its theater release followed by its rental release on Prime Video in 2023. Now, with a Disney+ subscription, fans can watch “The Eras Tour” on repeat as many times as one’s heart desires.
“The history-making, cinematic experience, ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ directed by Sam Wrench, grossed more than $260 million worldwide at the global box office, making it the top selling concert film of all-time,” Disney+ states in a recent news release.
Disney+ does not offer a free trial for new subscribers and costs $7.99 a month with ads or $13.99 without ads. However, this is a significant discount from Prime Video’s rental price for “The Era’s Tour” concert film, which was set at $19.89 for 24 hour access.
You can also bundle Disney+ with Hulu for a discounted price for both streaming services.
