Who Is Cardi B's Husband, Offset? – POPSUGAR

The red carpet at the 2018 American Music Awards was full of the biggest stars in the music industry. And there’s nothing a red carpet loves more than a power couple. Beyoncé and JAY-Z might have all the nominations, but Cardi B and her new husband, Offset, drew plenty of attention, too.
You definitely know all about Cardi B and her high-profile career, but unless you’re a serious rap fan, you might not be as familiar with her husband, Kiari Cephus. Better known as Offset, he’s a rapper in his own right and part of the hip-hop and trap trio Migos. The couple, who are the parents of a new baby girl, made headlines earlier this year when news broke that they got married quietly in 2017, but if you’re curious to know more about him, scroll through for some facts.
Offset’s career is primarily as part of Migos, a trio that specializes in “trap” and hip-hop music and you might recognize from songs like “Bad and Boujee” and “Stir Fry.” His bandmates, Takeoff and Quavo, are actually his relatives: Quavo and Offset are cousins, and Takeoff is Quavo’s nephew, although he’s only three years younger and the boys all grew up together.
In 2013, Drake joined Migos on a remix of their song “Versace,” helping it become a viral sensation and achieve gold certification. The collaboration dated back to a casual video of Drake taking Migos’s side in a debate with DJ Drama about who was the one to watch: Migos or Rich Homie Quan.
Offset made his runway debut at New York Fashion Week in 2018, modeling for Jeremy Scott.
The dab originated in the Southern hip-hop scene, and its exact origins can’t be traced. But Migos’s 2015 hit “Look at My Dab” turned an obscure move into a bona-fide cultural phenomenon, making Offset one of the original “dabbers.”
While everyone is obsessed with the quirkily named Kulture, his daughter with wife Cardi B, he’s not a new dad for the first time. Offset has three children from previous relationships — two sons, Jordan and Kody, and one daughter, Kalea.
