Taylor Swift fans have shared their excitement following the release of The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) trailer on Monday.
The minute-long teaser for the Disney+ release sees the superstar in concert during her immensely successful North American tour last year.
The Disney+ version of the movie, which will be released on March 14, coincides with reissues of her earlier music catalog and promises to offer a slightly different experience to her concert film.
It will show the concert in its entirety for the first time as well as include the song Cardigan, plus four additional acoustic songs not featured in either the previous theatrical or VOD versions.
Fans flooded social media to express their excitement for the film’s release on the streaming platform and were left stunned when Maroon was revealed as one of the acoustic songs.
One fan wrote: “Disney Plus is about to get SWIFTILLION subscribers.”
“I think I speak for everyone when I say that we are all READY FOR IT,” another penned.
A third commented: “You all do not know how hard I kicked my table when she said MAROON. My favorite song from midnights, it was the first one I listened to with my friends.” A fourth added: “It’s been a long time coming! We are ready for it!!!”
Last month Swift was announced the concert film, which became the high-grossing concert film of all time when it hit cinemas in October, was arriving to Disney+ on March 14.
At the time of the announcement, Disney CEO Bob Iger called the performer’s tour “a true phenomenon that has and continues to thrill fans around the world”.
He said in a statement: “The Eras Tour has been a true phenomenon that has and continues to thrill fans around the world, and we are very excited to bring this electrifying concert to audiences wherever they are, exclusively on Disney+.”

The Eras Tour amassed more than $262 million worldwide in theaters after opening in October, setting a new record for concert films. Swift partnered with AMC Theaters for the release in a first-of-its-kind deal that cut out Hollywood studios and instead sent the film directly into theaters.
That left a second round of bidding for streaming rights.
The Eras Tour film will hit Disney+ about a month before Swift’s recently announced new album, The Tortured Poets Department, drops on April 19.
On Sunday, she won best album at the Grammys for Midnights.
