Cardi B drops first solo record in three years – The News International

Cardi B recently dropped her first new track of the year Like What (Freestyle), marking her first solo record in three years.
Her track featured a sample from Missy Elliot’s 1999 classic hit She’s a B*tch coupled with a music video directed by Cardi’s beau Offset.
The rapper released several hit songs in 2023, including her collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion on Bongos. 
The celebrity did a couple of remixes with FendiDaRappa and Latto, in which the latter also teamed up with Offset on tracks like Jealousy and Freaky.
Starting 2024 with style, Cardi welcomed the year with a Super Bowl commercial for NYX accompanied by her most recent release Like What (Freestyle).
The rapper took to Instagram, teasing her upcoming track earlier this week, rapping: “I ain’t even got dressed / Any L that I took come after YS / Oh man, oh man, oh man, oh man.”
This came after the WAP rapper’s estranged husband Offset encouraged her to drop recent music.
The Migos star shared a video on his Instagram Stories dancing to the music and writing, “Stop being scary and drop the album sh– goes crazy” with a series of fire emojis.
