NFL to start talks with Taylor Swift for most lucrative deal ever to play Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans… – The US Sun

TAYLOR Swift is being lined up for a blockbuster Super Bowl Halftime Show performance next year – and could help generate a $1 billion NFL windfall.
The U.S. Sun revealed how the superstar singer rejected a late push for her to wow the crowds in Las Vegas earlier this month as boyfriend Travis Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs dramatically beat the San Francisco 49ers.
Taylor just wanted to enjoy the game after making a mad dash from Japan, where she was on her Eras Tour, to Sin City.
But NFL chiefs are making early arrangements ahead of the 2025 Super Bowl in New Orleans – and the money men are already licking their lips.
Two NFL business insiders, interviewed by The U.S. Sun, believe having the Cruel Summer star perform at the Caesars Superdome could make it the most watched of all time.
One of the sources, an external business consultant for the NFL, says influential figures within the organization are desperate to get Taylor booked up and have begun trying to make it happen.
He emphasized that Taylor's mere presence at Allegiant Stadium ensured record viewing figures, with a whopping 123 million tuning in.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell recognizes Taylor's ability to attract non-football fans and a younger demographic, with the possible increase in advertising revenue particularly intriguing.
"The ads could reach a cost of $8.5 million each, an increase of $1 million, or more," said the source.
"This year, it has been estimated that her presence helped generate a lot of money, estimated between $700-750 million. If she is the main artist of next year’s halftime show, it’s expected to generate more than $1.3-1.5 billion."
Another insider speculates that if Taylor does perform and the Chiefs make it for a third successive year "it will be the biggest sports event ever broadcasted in America" and could see the viewing figures reach a record-breaking 140 million.
Hardcore NFL fans may squirm every time the camera pans to the Anti-Hero sensation, but her effect on the League's popularity cannot be discounted.
"Taylor's relationship with Travis is probably the best gift ever made to the NFL," a source who works as a business consultant for the NFL said with a smile.
"It’s a huge win-win for the league, and for them."
The number of young girls taking in the action has increased dramatically, according to the insiders, while The U.S. Sun has previously reported sales of Kansas City and Travis merchandise have skyrocketed since the power couple became an item.
"The story was perfect this year," the source noted. "And next year, it could be even better. If the planets align, and Taylor and Travis are both there again, the money made would break every record."
