Hennessy Carolina is the sister of Cardi B.
Cardi B was born in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, on October 11, 1992. Her real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar. Her father is of Dominican descent, and her mother is of Trinidadian origin with African and Spanish roots. Almánzar spent her childhood in the Highbridge neighborhood of the South Bronx and frequently visited her paternal grandmother’s house in Washington Heights, which she attributes to her distinct accent.
She has a younger sister named Hennessy Carolina, born in 1995. In her youth, Almánzar was associated with the Bloods gang from the age of 16, although she has publicly stated that she does not endorse gang involvement.
