Lady Gaga Joins Fortnite Festival Season 2 – Nintendo Life

“Get ready to go gaga”
Season 2 of Fortnite Festival is now underway and as part of this the “legendary superstar” Lady Gaga (known for smash hits such as ‘Poker Face’ and ‘Just Dance’) has joined in on the fun as the festival icon.
From now until 22nd April 2024, you’ll be able to participate in the new festival pass ‘Unlock your talent’, and receive new instruments, jam tracks, and much more. This pass has a free tier as well as a premium reward track upgrade.
If you missed the initial announcement last December, Fortnite Festival is a new music game where you join a band or go solo on stage with hit music from the top artists. It is developed by Harmonix, the team behind the Rock Band series.
In somewhat related news, LEGO Fortnite this week added fishing – allowing players to craft a fishing rod and then catch all sorts of fish. You can learn more in our previous coverage here on Nintendo Life:

If I knew what Fortnite was before, I certainly do not now.

I've not been following Lady Gaga, but I'm just discovering how full of herself she seems to be, at least in Fortnite! XD

And doubled the price of the battlepass with her power in the process

I do love this crossover, but having a Chromatica skin feels late and outdated especially since she’s about to put out a new different album.. this should have come out a couple years ago!

I don't play Fortnite, but I get his stand point.

The problem with Fortnite Festival is that it’s inherently much worse value than Rock Band ever was. It’s a shame, Harmonix are great devs and they’ve supported Rock Band 4 brilliantly over the years.

Fortnite is such a mess.

I'm sure in the past, Lady Gaga Miis have been encountered in some Nintendo games by most people. I know I've seen some as far back as the different "channels" of the Wii era, "Check Mii Out", as well as other things going forward, Super Smash Bros.

@PinderSchloss isn't COD worse though? At least Fortnite suits this kind of thing with it's quirky GamePlay, but COD added Nicky Minaj and Snoop Dogg as playable characters which is just embarrassing for long time COD fans.
