Travis Kelce arrived in Australia on Wednesday, and was spotted handing out friendship bracelets and guitar picks to audience members at the pop star’s sold-out gig in Sydney
Taylor Swift sweetly changed the lyrics of her hit Karma again in honour of her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
The Grammy-winning singer stunned fans in November last year during her gig in Buenos Aires, when she first revealed the touching lyric change dedicated to her Kansas City Chiefs tight end beau. And on Friday, she surprised the audience at the Accor Arena in Sydney when she changed the lyrics to Karma again as Travis was in the crowd watching her perform the sell-out show.
The NFL star beamed and put his hands in the air as Taylor crooned: “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me,” and after she sang the changed lyric, the crowd erupted into screams and cheers. Travis looked besotted with his pop icon girlfriend as he watched the gig from the VIP stand alongside best friend Ross Travis, who had travelled to Australia with the Chiefs player.

Travis was also seen handing out friendship bracelets and guitar picks to Swifties before the concert began, and had a noticeably trim beard after reuniting with his girlfriend Down Under. It was the first time they had been together since Travis won the Super Bowl earlier this month, and the lovebirds spent a few hours on a sweet date at Sydney Zoo before Taylor’s concert.
The NFL football player previously spoke about his feelings towards Taylor’s Karma lyric change on his podcast with brother Jason Kelce, New Heights, and while the audience in Buenos Aires was surprised, he had an inkling it was going to happen. “I might have had a little bit of a clue, but definitely when I heard it come out of her mouth, [it] still shocked me," he admitted.
“I was enjoying myself down there in Buenos Aires. The show was even more electric knowing that I had a little bit more to enjoy it for and yeah. Taylor absolutely ripped it. She killed it. And it looked like she was having some fun up there,” Travis sweetly shared.
However, he’s now headed back to the US after a brief visit to Australia, as he prepares to celebrate the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win with an epic party in Las Vegas with his teammates, including Patrick Mahomes. While fans were disappointed he wasn’t in the VIP stand for Taylor’s second gig in Sydney, it’s rumoured Travis will be accompanying Taylor around Europe when she kicks off the next leg of her Eras World Tour in May.
His whirlwind trip to Sydney is the second time he’s flown halfway across the world to see his girlfriend perform since they began dating in August last year. In November, he jetted to Buenos Aires to watch one of Taylor’s gigs with her father Scott before flying back to the US.
