Real Madrid have submitted a request to LaLiga about the date of their last game of the season
Taylor Swift will perform on May 30, 2024 at the new Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, in a highly anticipated concert of her ‘The Eras Tour’ that could directly affect Real Madrid‘s schedule.
‘The Athletic’ reports that “Real Madrid have submitted a request to LaLiga about the date of their final game of the season to allow them more time to prepare for Taylor Swift‘s concert at the Bernabeu the following week”.
Real Madrid, who could be looking for a second additional date for another Taylor Swift concert at the Bernabeu, should have to face Real Betis on May 25-26 (dates scheduled for matchday 38).
The problem with changing the date of that match is that both Real Madrid and Real Betis could be playing for something on the last day of LaLiga EA Sports, so that match would have to be played with a unified schedule with the rest of the teams involved.
The four days it takes Taylor Swift‘s team to change cities between concerts is another factor to consider.
