The worst episode in the history of The Simpsons (it’s not just me saying it, the internet ratings say it too) is ‘Lisa Goes Gaga’, in which the family’s daughter ends up meeting Lady Gaga in twenty minutes dedicated to her figure and her terribly boring influence. But forcing Lady Gaga into everything seems to be trendy now, because her presence has been confirmed in ‘Fortnite’, a game that was called “Fortnight” five years ago. The rest is history.
However, she won’t be appearing as a fighter, no matter how curious it would be to see Lady Gaga killing you in person with a machine gun: she will be singing in the version of ‘Rock Band’ included in the game, ‘Fortnite Festival’. They are taking advantage of the start of season 2 to bring in some stars: in her own style, we will be able to perform eight songs such as ‘Bloody Mary’, ‘Poker face’ or ‘Born this way’. If you don’t know what we’re talking about, maybe it’s time to review the pop culture, in general, of the last twenty years.
The festival pass will last from now until April 22 and will allow players to unlock new instruments, improvisation pieces, costumes, and much more. ‘Fortnite’, determined to become the ultimate game, is pulling out all the stops to become a unique experience. And it is certainly succeeding, with or without a poker face.
