Lady Gaga is the ‘icon’ for Fortnite Festival’s second season – Music Ally

Just days after teasing a potential appearance in Fortnite, Lady Gaga has been confirmed for a starring role in the game.
Well, in the sub-game: she will be the ‘icon’ artist for the second season of the Fortnite Festival mode. That’s the Rock Band-style music rhythm game that was launched within Fortnite in December.
The second season begins today (22 February) and will see players unlocking Lady Gaga-themed instruments and an outfit – including a purple bodysuit worn on her Chromatica Ball tour – as they progress.
Gaga’s ‘Poker Face’ is one of the unlockable tracks in the season too, alongside Nelly ft. City Spud’s ‘Ride Wit Me’, Soundgarden’s ‘Black Hole Sun’ and Topic w/ A75’s ‘Breaking Me’.
Epic Games will also be selling additional virtual items based on Lady Gaga, including a Chromatica Armor Outfit.
People streaming their Fortnite Festival gameplay on YouTube will also be able to use a number of Lady Gaga tracks without incurring copyright strikes.
