Taylor Swift fans have speculated that a tiny fashion accessory could be a subtle nod to her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, after stepping out on the town in Sydney.
Swift was photographed leaving Surry Hills eatery Pellegrino 2000 on Tuesday night after dining with Sabrina Carpenter, her friend and fellow pop singer who is playing support on the Australian leg of the Eras Tour.
The pair reportedly spent $620 on dinner, with the pop megastar leaving a generous $300 tip for staff.
But it was the tiny pendant she wore around her neck that set fans’ tongues wagging.
The accessory, reportedly valued at around $600 or $700, was a small upside-down ‘T’ attached to a gold chain.
Available from UK jeweller Tilly Sveaas, fans were quick to point out that it could be a subtle nod to her boyfriend, whose name also begins with the letter ‘T’.
Others quickly countered that Swift’s first name also starts with the letter ‘T’.
She plays the first of her four Sydney shows at Accor Stadium on Friday night, after a run of shows in Melbourne came to an end this week.
Her first show in Australia for this tour, at the MCG was the biggest crowd to which she had ever performed.
Swift used her acceptance speech at the Grammy Awards on February 5 to reveal she was releasing her first album in 18 months.
The new album, The Tortured Poets Department, is set to drop worldwide on April 19.
