Fortnite’s next music collaboration is almost here. In a quote tweet Tuesday afternoon popular American pop singer Lady Gaga teased her debut in the next Fortnite Festival season.
The mysterious image showcases the singers in-game avatar, which seems to be based off her previous 2020 album Chromatica. Her quote tweet is a correction of her original five year-old post turned meme, where she asked “what’s Fortnight”.

Fortnite Festival is the battle royal’s newest game mode that allows players to enjoy an ever expanding catalog of music from popular artists around the world through a fast paced competitive team rhythm game.
According to Rolling Stone, rumors of a collaboration between Fortnite and Lady Gaga have existed since her initial tweet five years ago, picking up speed in 2022 due to an alleged leak of an updated version of “Poker Face.”
Previously, popular singer The Weekend headlined Fortnite Festival‘s debut alongside exclusive skins and cosmetics. If this upcoming season is like its debut, Lady Gaga fans should expect something similar.
That said, nothing is for certain. More likely than not, Fortnite may even get another bombastic in-game performance similar to Ariana Grande or Travis Scott. Regardless, more information on Lady Gaga’s upcoming performance will be coming very soon, since Fortnite Festival’s second season launches this Wednesday February 22.
