Donald Trump has issued a warning to Taylor Swift ahead of Super Bowl LVIII, but admitted he ‘likes’ her boyfriend Travis Kelce despite their differing political views
Donald Trump, the former US President, has criticised Taylor Swift, calling her 'disloyal'. However, he surprisingly praised her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Trump and Swift have had disagreements in the past, with Swift being a known supporter of current President Joe Biden. Swift's popularity has recently extended to NFL fans due to her relationship with Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs star.
Before Sunday's Super Bowl in Las Vegas, Nevada, a bizarre theory circulated on right-wing social media suggesting that Swift might endorse Biden at Allegiant Stadium if the Chiefs win. While this is highly unlikely, and there's no indication that Swift would be given a microphone or use NFL airtime to discuss politics, Trump issued a stern warning to her.
On Truth Social, Trump told his followers that there's "no way" Swift could endorse his potential opponent in November. He wrote: "I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists. Joe Biden didn't do anything for Taylor, and never will."

Despite this, Trump did show support for Travis Kelce, "Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can't stand me!" he added to his statement.
Swift had a quick turnaround from her 'Eras' tour in Tokyo. After Saturday's concert, she hopped on a plane back to Los Angeles, ready to attend a show in Las Vegas on Sunday night.
