How to watch Taylor Swift 'The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version)' in 2024 – Mashable

Long live the Eras Tour. Taylor Swift has teamed up with the House of Mouse to bring the Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) to homes everywhere. Yes, the Sam Wrench-directed concert film has been available for rent on other digital retailers for over a month, but now we’ve got an official streaming date, ladies and gents. Here’s everything you need to know to catch the concert from your living room. The Eras Tour attire encouraged.
You didn’t think Taylor would miss the chance to drop a few more gems on us, did you? For Taylor’s Version of the Eras Tour film —which originally hit theaters Oct. 13, 2023 (and broke box office records, obviously) — viewers will be blessed with five acoustic songs that weren’t in the theatrical release or digital edition. The exact list of songs wasn’t noted in the press release, but we do know that “Cardigan” is among the five. Feel free to speculate about the other four. (Swiftie sleuths think they’ll be “I Can See You,” “Maroon,” “You Are in Love,” and “Death by a Thousand Cuts.”) It’s also being touted as the first time the concert will be shown in its entirety.
The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) will grace the Disney+ streaming library on March 15, 2024. If you’re already a Disney+ subscriber, you’re good to go. Come March 15, the concert film will be waiting for you. Not yet a subscriber? You’ll have to sign up in order to watch.
It’s worth noting that on March 14, the day before The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) hits streaming, Disney+ is expected to start cracking down on shared accounts (following in Netflix’s footsteps). That means if you and your bestie currently share an account, but don’t live in the same household, one of you is going to be booted out. Disney+, why you gotta be so mean?
Obviously you’re going to need a Disney+ subscription in order to stream The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) from your couch. The question is which Disney+ subscription deal is the best for you? There are monthly and annual options, ad-supported and ad-free tiers, bundles, free trials through third-party subscriptions, and more. We’ve broken down all the details below.
If you only want to watch the concert film and be on your way, your best bet is to sign up for a single month of Disney+. While you won’t technically save any money, you also won’t continuously waste money either — as long as you remember to cancel your subscription after you watch. A monthly subscription for Disney+ will only run you $7.99, so long as you don’t mind sitting through a few ads. The ad-free option, on the other hand, will cost you $13.99 per month or $139.99 per year (annual subscribers save 17%).
When you navigate to Disney+ on your browser, you’ll have to click on “View All Plan Options” and then “Disney+” under “Choose Your Plan.” This will allow you to sign up for Disney+ on its own at whichever tier you prefer.
For those who stream a lot of content, the Disney Bundle remains one of the best deals around. If you’re already a Hulu subscriber, you can add Disney+ into the mix with the Duo Basic Bundle for only $2 more per month. Sports lovers can also throw in ESPN+ for just five bucks more. It may not be the best option for someone simply looking to watch The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version), but for anyone looking for the most bang for their buck, check out the following bundle options:
Disney+, Hulu (with ads) — $9.99 per month (save 37%)
Disney+, Hulu (no ads) — $19.99 per month (save 37%)
Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ (with ads) — $14.99 per month (save 44%)
Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ (no ads) — $24.99 per month (save 41%)
Verizon Fios home internet users on the 2 Gig Streaming or 2 Gig Complete package can get an entire year of Disney+ Premium (no ads) for free. Meanwhile, those on the 1 Gig Streaming or 1 Gig Complete package can score six months of Disney+ Premium (no ads) for free. Both trial deals give you plenty of time to watch The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) as many times as you desire. Check your plan and read more about eligibility terms over on the Verizon website to activate the offer.
Verizon Wireless customers have a couple great options to access Disney+ for free or at a solid discount. There are some terms, however, so listen up.
A handful of Unlimited plans that are no longer available included six free months of Disney+. If you haven’t taken advantage of the offer yet and are on one of these plans, you can still grab your free trial through May 2024. Plans include 5G Do More, 5G Start, Welcome Unlimited, One Unlimited for iPhone, Get More Unlimited, Do More Unlimited, and Play More Unlimited. If you’re on the 5G Get More or 5G Play More plan, you’re also eligible for the Disney Bundle for free. Head on over to the Verizon website to check your plan and read more about eligibility and terms.
If you’re a Verizon Wireless customer and don’t have access to the now-obsolete trial, you can still get a deal on the streaming service. Verizon myPlan customers can add a Disney Bundle — which includes Disney+ Premium (no ads), Hulu, and ESPN (with ads) — to their account for just $10 per month. That’s $8.99 per month in savings as opposed to signing up for the Disney Bundle separately.
Total by Verizon customers on the $60/month prepaid unlimited plan get Disney+ Premium (no ads) included for free. No trial period or terms — just keep your account in good standing and you have free access to Disney+ with your account. If you cancel or change your plan, your Disney+ access will end alongside it. If you’re on the Total by Verizon $50/month prepaid unlimited plan, you can also score six free months of Disney+ — still plenty of time to watch The Eras Tour. Want to extend those six months indefinitely? Switch over to the $60/month plan instead.

Sadly, Disney+ no longer offers a free trial to new users. The only way to get Disney+ for free in 2024 is via a Verizon Fios account or Total by Verizon account.
Disney recently took a note from the Netflix playbook and announced its plan to crack down on password sharing, which is bad news to Swifties hoping to watch The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) using their friend’s or family member’s account from a different household. The new rules are already in place for new subscribers, while existing subscribers can see the change take effect on March 14 — the day before the concert film debuts on Disney+, go figure. There’s no word yet on if users can pay extra to add users from outside the household. So, it appears the best thing to do is sign up for your own account. Bummer.
