Long live the Eras Tour. Taylor Swift has teamed up with the House of Mouse to bring the Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) to homes everywhere. Yes, the Sam Wrench-directed concert film has been available for rent on other digital retailers for over a month, but now we’ve got an official streaming date, ladies and gents. Here’s everything you need to know to catch the concert from your living room. The Eras Tour attire encouraged.
You didn’t think Taylor would miss the chance to drop a few more gems on us, did you? For Taylor’s Version of the Eras Tour film —which originally hit theaters Oct. 13, 2023 (and broke box office records, obviously) — viewers will be blessed with five acoustic songs that weren’t in the theatrical release or digital edition. The exact list of songs wasn’t noted in the press release, but we do know that “Cardigan” is among the five. Feel free to speculate about the other four. (Swiftie sleuths think they’ll be “I Can See You,” “Maroon,” “You Are in Love,” and “Death by a Thousand Cuts.”) It’s also being touted as the first time the concert will be shown in its entirety.
The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) will grace the Disney+ streaming library on March 15, 2024. If you’re already a Disney+ subscriber, you’re good to go. Come March 15, the concert film will be waiting for you. Not yet a subscriber? You’ll have to sign up in order to watch.
It’s worth noting that on March 14, the day before The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) hits streaming, Disney+ is expected to start cracking down on shared accounts (following in Netflix’s footsteps). For those who stream a lot of content, the Disney Bundle remains one of the best deals around. If you’re already a Hulu subscriber, you can add Disney+ into the mix with the Duo Basic Bundle for only $2 more per month. Sports lovers can also throw in ESPN+ for just five bucks more. It may not be the best option for someone simply looking to watch The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version), but for anyone looking for the most bang for their buck, check out the following bundle options:

If you’re a Verizon Wireless customer and don’t have access to the now-obsolete trial, you can still get a deal on the streaming service. Verizon myPlan customers can add a Disney Bundle — which includes Disney+ Premium (no ads), Hulu, and ESPN (with ads) — to their account for just $10 per month. That’s $8.99 per month in savings as opposed to signing up for the Disney Bundle separately.
Total by Verizon customers on the $60/month prepaid unlimited plan get Disney+ Premium (no ads) included for free. No trial period or terms — just keep your account in good standing and you have free access to Disney+ with your account. If you cancel or change your plan, your Disney+ access will end alongside it. If you’re on the Total by Verizon $50/month prepaid unlimited plan, you can also score six free months of Disney+ — still plenty of time to watch The Eras Tour. Want to extend those six months indefinitely? Switch over to the $60/month plan instead.

Sadly, Disney+ no longer offers a free trial to new users. The only way to get Disney+ for free in 2024 is via a Verizon Fios account or Total by Verizon account.
Disney recently took a note from the Netflix playbook and announced its plan to crack down on password sharing, which is bad news to Swifties hoping to watch The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) using their friend’s or family member’s account from a different household. The new rules are already in place for new subscribers, while existing subscribers can see the change take effect on March 14 — the day before the concert film debuts on Disney+, go figure. There’s no word yet on if users can pay extra to add users from outside the household. So, it appears the best thing to do is sign up for your own account. Bummer.
