Huge megastars Brad Pitt and Lady Gaga featured in iconic portraits by British artist – and he’s set to mak… – The Sun

BRITISH artist Lincoln Townley is known as a friend to huge stars such as Tom Cruise and Sir Michael Caine, and now he's set to launch his biggest project yet.
To celebrate 10 years of his acclaimed portraits, he has created a huge new collection which features more of his massive Hollywood pals.
Since 2014 Lincoln, 51, has created collectable images of an array of huge names which include Hollywood actors, sports stars, models, comedians, global superstar musicians and even royalty.
Known as ICONS, they are so popular that BAFTA commissioned several collections of exclusive portraits in celebration of each year's nominees.
For six years, the British Academy gave the green light for paintings of some of the biggest movie stars of the planet.
This includes the likes of Matt Damon, Ricky Gervais, Orlando Bloom and Meryl Streep
The collection originally started with Charlie Sheen and Al Pacino, with more names including Sir Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Dame Dame Judi Dench, Kate Moss, and Leonardo Di Caprio being added as news of the success spread.
Sir Michael even famously described the painter as 'The next Andy Warhol,' as he was beaming with the artist and Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise.
The collection has made its way to the UK at Lincoln's own showroom after a star-studded tenth anniversary celebration at Hollywood’s famous Sunset Marquis hotel.
The first print of The Great Escaper actor of the ten year anniversary collection has already sold for £30,000 which Lincoln has donated to BAFTA Los Angeles.
The original paintings are even expected to sell for big money – between £250k to £1million – when they will eventually be unveiled to Los Angeles collectors.
The 10th anniversary collection features the likes of Robert De Niro, Brad Pitt, Sir Mick Jagger and Lady Gaga.
Aside from his huge Hollywood links, he is also embedded in the celebrity scene in the UK.
He has been married to Loose Women star and Waterloo Road actress Denise Welch since 2013.
