LOS ANGELES — Hello, friends, and welcome to the weekend at the U.S. Open. The golf has been good, but the people watching here at Los Angeles Country Club has been even better.
Athletes and celebrities have been out and about on the course and ready to follow all of the action. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the best part of being famous has got to be the ability to hang out inside the ropes at major championships. We saw it with Josh Allen at the PGA Championship last month, and we’re seeing it again this week. Matt Stafford is on the broadcast as I type!
My fellow Bostonian, Blake Griffin, was in attendance on Friday afternoon too. He caught up with Brooks Koepka, Tony Finau and even Full Swing star Dylan Dethier.

It’s always nice to know that professional athletes struggle with their putting as well.

Next up we had golf-fanatic Larry Fitzgerald following around Jon Rahm at Los Angeles Country Club.
Macklemore’s collaboration with Adidas dropped this week, and he’s been showing off his new Bogey Boys collection all week.
Michael Pena also took his talents to LACC, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think he was rocking a McArthur hat upon first glance.
Now for some coaches, comedians, influencers and more athletes.
Finally, I headed over to Instagram and Twitter to look for any celebs that fans had encountered on-site. I was not expecting to learn that Owen Wilson came out for a day!
