Cardi B Slams Biden, Says She Won't Endorse Another President Again – Business Insider

Cardi B slammed President Joe Biden and vowed to never endorse another president again during a weekend online rant about sweeping budget cuts for her native New York City.
“We are going to be drowning in fucking rats,” the “WAP” rapper fumed in an Instagram live video as she commented on New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ newly unveiled plan to slash the city’s budget over the soaring costs of the migrant housing crisis.
The Grammy-winning artist, who previously supported Biden, said that she’s “not endorsing no fucking president’s no more” because of the major budget cuts coming to New York City, while the United States provides aid to Israel and Ukraine amid the Israel-Hamas and Ukraine-Russia wars.
“Joe Biden is talking about like, yeah, we could fund two wars,” Cardi B said as she railed, “We’re going through some shit right now.”
The 31-year-old music star continued, “We cannot fund these wars. We can’t fund these wars. We could barely fucking fund this country. Finish it!”
With the looming New York City budget cuts slated to impact the police department, fire department, sanitation department, and schools, Cardi B warned that the city will get “even dirtier” and that “crimes are gonna’ go up the roof.”
Last week, Adams said New York City must close a $7 billion budget gap in the coming fiscal year.
“For months, we have warned New Yorkers about the challenging fiscal situation our city faces,” Adams said in a statement, adding, “Migrant costs are going up, tax revenue growth is slowing, and COVID stimulus funding is drying up.”
“No city should be left to handle a national humanitarian crisis largely on its own, and without the significant and timely support we need from Washington, DC,” the mayor said.
