Cardi B participated in the Girl Talk program
Cardi B recently visited the NYPD academy to participate in a children’s program to reduce her community service sentence. The program is a mentorship service for little girls called Girl Talk to that focuses on helping those in need.
Cardi B is no stranger to community service as she had said in the past that she was something of a troublemaker when she was growing up and would get into trouble constantly for doing things her way, as she told David Letterman in his Netflix show “My next guest needs no introduction”.
She spoke about the experience on Twitter “Community service has been the best thing that has happened to me. Almost like a spiritual journey because sometimes I leave these centers in tears. Those people that we leave behind they just need somebody to talk and a lil push and YOU might be able to change their life forever.”
Cardi still has 15 days off her community service sentence that she got after having something to do with a beatdown at a club a while back.
There is no specific record of what she said or how long her participation lasted, however, she got acquainted with people as she even did a little dance.
After she was at the NYPD she tweeted “My brains are burning from waking up early ,community service then studio….but I did the crime ‘I only have myself to blame.'”
It is not clear when is her next appearance but while she still has days to cover it seems that she will cooperate with the NYPD to straighten everything up.
