Artist Peter Gabriel opened a video called ‘Artists for Action’ where they call for gun reform in America
Generally, artists like Billie Eilish getting overly political tends to rub Americans the wrong way. This is especially true when said artists start messing with people’s second ammendment, which is their right to bear arms. For generations, Americans have always loved the idea of being able to protect themselves from a tyrannical government if the situation gets too oppresive. But this has never prevented famous people who oppose guns from speaking their minds, the latest example is the ‘Artists for Action‘ initiative. A video that recently released featuring Billie Eilish, Peter Gabriel and other famous artists is calling for sensible gun laws.
They are not going after people’s guns, simply asking for better gun reforms but you already know those who love fire arms will immediately go after Billie and every other artist who appears in this video. All the constant mass shootings taking place in the country is not a good reason to get this gun reform. Most of the efforts against it are pushed by the National Rifle Association (NRA) and it will never stop. Regardless, the video starts with Peter Gabriel saying this: “As much as I love the United States, I am always appalled at the ease with which anyone can get a weapon.”
When it comes to not only gun laws but other important issues, Billie Eilish has always been political and attempted to fight for better laws that seem logical to her. Despite the attacks online by people who don’t agree with her, Billie has always stuck to her guns (pun intended) when it comes to defending her political ideas. She is a big-enough artist who can get away with saying what she thinks without any fear of getting cancelled. It’s elite people like her who need to step up and try to create the change that can bring about a better future for American society. You can check out the video below and let us know if it may anger those who love having guns.
