Upon her 31st birthday, Cardi B delivered a fiery red celebratory post on Instagram coupled with a teaser for her new song.
On Thursday (Oct.12), the “Jealousy” rapper shared a carousel of images and videos of her wearing a skin-tight laced red dressed while surrounded by red roses and balloons.
While laying on a bed of roses, she mouthed the words to an unreleased song, where she raps about being “back on they a**es.”

“I’m back in the mood, I’m back on they a**es,” she spits. “I’m teaching them classes/ These bi**hes is food!” She also captioned the post, “Throw it back like its Thursday I got cake I’m lit its my birthday…..Trophies.”
After the tease, Offset and Cardi B dropped their new joint effort “Freaky,” on Friday (Oct. 13). In a prior interview, the Bronx rapper voiced that she wanted to make a “freaky” song with her husband, and now it has come to fruition. The track hails from his new album, Set It Off.
As Cardi’s new album is still underway, she’s also teamed up with Megan Thee Stallion for “Bongos.” The track debuted at No. 14 on the Hot 100 and now resides at No. 46. The two recently spoke on possibly working together again, as Meg teased a potential EP and tour with Cardi.
“I literally think that’s the route that we’re going,” Meg told Complex. “So I’ve done two songs for her. And now I feel like I’m in a space where I know exactly what songs I want her to do for me. So we’re really building a little EP already.”
She added, “We’re gonna have enough music that we need to go on tour together. Me and [Cardi B] going out together will be so amazing. We are already so cool. And I feel like we got similar fans. So if she wanted to do a little EP, I would definitely be so down to do that, but we are making enough music to already have that.”
